And more than just a go-anywhere 4x4, this one seems to have that extra level of shine that really looks good rolling through town, too.
The green paint looks like it could blend with nature, but there's also a nice luster that shows this is an upgrade later in life. It's also the perfect complementing color to the black pinstripe, mirrors, and windshield rubber. In fact, there are more dark elements that also add to this CJ's utility. The custom front bumper, tubular side steps, fender flares, and custom rear bumper with trailer hitch all have a cool look and add to the usefulness we all want in a 4x4 like this. But it's not just the blackout side that shows off-road prowess. You have bright 15-inch Cragar wheels (including full-size spare) that hold meaty tires and show off the lifted suspension. Plus, the iconic CJ shape is built with a fiberglass body. This means you don't worry about body corrosion whenever you get into the deepest water traps around.
You have a full set of soft doors and the choice of a bikini top or a full soft top. With all of this done in black, it gives the exterior the look of a two-tone. But we really know Jeeps are meant to be open to the world. So there's plenty more darkness inside as this one mixes vintage pieces with newer elements. For example, the classic low-back front bucket seats have newer covers and shoulder belts. You'll also appreciate comfortable upgrades like the cup holders, center console, good carpeting, and an AM/FM stereo with USB input and Bluetooth. The driver gets a grippy Jeep's steering wheel, and beyond that, the dash has the CJ's central mounted speedometer and all the right supporting gauges. This includes a tach that's quite useful with the stick shift.
We like how the full front end lifts up for added distinction and excellent access to the full motor. Jeep's six-cylinder engines are true torque kings, and so it's great to have the 232 cubic-inch unit under the hood. It has a clean look of good maintenance, and it runs well with the inherent smooth nature of the inline-six. There's even an aluminum radiator to help keep everything cool. And you take proper control over it all with the four-speed manual transmission. A two-speed transfer case, lifted suspension, and General Grabber off-road tires make for a good 4x4. But thi
